**Just in Case You Were Wondering**

- I am the wife to a wonderful man named Will, and Mom to 5 amazing kids. Both Will and I were widowed before we met. We had 3 children between us when we married. We welcomed a new addition 1 1/2 years later. The pregnancy and birth were wild, so we decided to be "done". God had a different plan. We were introduced to international adoption, and started that process 11/04. We brought our 5th child home from Ethiopia 4/06. You could say our kids are Your's, Mine, Our's and Someone Else's. 8^) We are just grateful that they are all OUR'S! Someday, we will adopt from Ethiopia again. We know there is an "older child" that is meant to be part of our family. We trust that God will let us know when the time is right. Parenting is the hardest and most rewarding thing I have ever taken on. I am not an expert, but I'm happy to share any insights I gain along the way. I also appreciate any tips I can glean from my readers. After all, it takes a village, right?!

80 sounds good to me! Although, the "nice" 60 that Sarah mentioned was much better than the 20's, 30's and low 40's that we've been having this winter. (Thanks for you comments on my blog by the way, Blaine)
I wish it were 88 degrees here! I think it's in the 20's, and the wind makes it feel colder.

ahhh, I'm sorry to say, you get no sympathy from me. Wish I was there. However, I am in -41 with windchill Saskatchewan..ugh! :(
OK guys. I talked to Will. We aren't accepting any permanent residents, but guests are always welcome. We would be honored to host any of you if you really need a little respite from your crazy cold weather. In fact, my Mom is coming in on Monday, followed by my Step-Dad the following Sunday. After suffering through multiple blizzards in a row, and recent sub-zero temperatures, they are ready for a break!! We are pretty thrilled with the insta-babysitters so we can get away for our anniversary. Seems like a win-win situation to me. 8^)
