Family Fun

We have lots of branches on our extended family tree. It is not always easy to stay in touch with all of them, but we do our best. In fact, that was the main reason for the creation of this blog. Each year, as the holiday season gets into full swing, we start making the rounds. We have a set schedule for which group of family we visit for each occasion. The Christmas celebrations always get started with my Dad, Bonus-Mom and family. This year, we were fortunate enough to have Grandma Vi (that's Great-Grandma to my kids) visiting from Illinois. We also had the pleasure of having our dear family friend, Nancy Brown, with us as well. She is an adopted Great-Grandma. It turns out, this was also the night Gil asked my Dad for my sister's hand in marriage. Quite a night, indeed.
