Back to Pink
Unbeknownst to me, before my Mom came out to visit in February, she had an abnormal mammogram. That was followed up by a biopsy this week that confirmed her worst fears. The doctors are using the "C" word. She received a referral for an MRI and a visit to a surgeon in the next week. So far, the talk seems to be centering on a lumpectomy and some radiation. We'll see what the verdict is after the latest round of tests. Please pray. This is my Mom. I'm sure you all understand.

Of course. I will be praying. I understand. And I am sending you a huge cyber hug as well.
Lifting you and your Mom up right now with lots of prayers.
Absolutely I will pray for your mom, and for you.
Holding you all dear, and I'm so sorry this is happening.

I'm so sorry, I know how you are feeling my father was diagnosed with cancer the Friday before Christmas 2006. Lets hope they caught it early. Good luck to you and your mother.

My mother had the lumpectomy and radiation 15 years ago and has been cancer free ever since. I will also pray.
I'm so sorry. I will pray for your mom.
I will definitely keep you in my prayers as well as your mom! I was just thinking this week how much I hate cancer -- I know that's a pretty general feeling, but my aunt is fighting breast cancer that seems to be further along and she was just told it has spread to her lymph nodes. I am fully trusting that God can heal her and I am praying that way until He tells me to pray otherwise!! I know it has to be hard for you thinking of your mom going through treatments --I'll pray that God brings you encouragment and healing for your mom!
Oh Blaine, I feel your pain and sorrow. Your poor mother must be so scared. My mom had a mastectomy a few years ago but luckily nothing was in her lymph nodes. I pray your mother will be okay and God will grant your whole family the strength to get through this trying time.
Oh Blaine, I will definitely keep you and your mother in my thoughts. Best wishes to you and your family.

I just went and got my cancer bracelet out. I'm wearing it for your mom.
Thinking of all of you,

or first known as Blaine's mom. I cannot begin to tell you how much all you prayers mean to me. I have truly been blessed by a very special husband, wonderful family, an extended family, church family, and friends (known and unknown). The Lord is definitely the director of this play no matter what the ending is. He has blessed me with so much and has used my life to glorify Him many times, and I have perfect faith that this situation is just another piece of history in my life. I have at least 7 grandchildren to be with as they grow up, one son left to get married, and a bunch more grandkids to spoil from my other two children. I have always planned on being around long enough to have my children support me in the style I want to be accustomed to, and those plans have not changed. Much Love to All.
oh blaine, I AM praying. and will continue to pray. darci
